Course

The 26.2 mile marathon course begins at the football field at the bottom of the peninsula, goes through Placencia Village, Seine Bight Village, and Maya Beach, with multiple views of the Caribbean Sea along the way. The course then loops back a few miles south of Riversdale. 

The 13.1 mile half marathon course begins at the marathon turnaround and both races finish in Placencia Village. 

There will be about 20 water stations along the 13.1 mile course.

Schedule

Saturday, December 7, 2024 @ Turtle Inn
  • 3 pm - 6 pm: Packet pick up
  • 5 pm: Pasta dinner ($15 BZ for Belizeans and $15 US for non Belizeans - can be paid at packet pick up) 

Sunday, December 8, 2024 @ Placencia Village
  • 5:30 am: Marathon start
  • 5:30 am: Half-marathon start (13.1 miles north of marathon start)​
  • 11:30 am: Awards ceremony
  • 1 pm - midnight: Marathon post-race beach party
